A practical, five-step process
Discover
Before anything gets built, I map how the process actually runs today: the tools involved, who touches it, and where time or accuracy gets lost. Most of the real design work happens here.
Design
I plan the system architecture: what triggers it, what data moves where, what an AI model should and shouldn't decide, and how failures get handled. All before a single integration gets built.
Build
Integrations, AI logic and workflow automation get implemented against the design, using n8n, Make, APIs or custom code, whichever actually fits the tools already in place.
Test & Harden
Edge cases, error handling and real data get exercised deliberately, not assumed. A workflow that only works on the happy path isn't finished.
Handover & Improve
Documentation, ownership and a clear picture of how the system works, so it doesn't depend on me to keep running, and can evolve as the business does.
