I build systems, not disposable automations

I'm Zeeshan Akhtar, an independent AI and workflow automation expert working with founders and operations teams who are running on too many disconnected tools. My work sits at the intersection of AI and automation: building AI agents, connecting systems with n8n and Make, and designing processes that remove manual work instead of shifting it around.

A single automated trigger is easy. The hard part, and the part I actually care about, is designing how a business's tools, data and AI models work together as one coherent system, so a change in one place doesn't quietly break something else.

Real client projects

I've worked across a range of real client projects — from an ongoing operations automation practice for Habfract Ltd. since 2023, to a Shopify AI customer support agent, to Notion and CRM systems connecting HubSpot, Calendly and Slack. Each one has its own tools, constraints and priorities, which is why I build systems instead of isolated automations, rather than a single use workflow that only ever gets tested against one happy path.

Tools I build with

Day to day, that work is built on n8n, Make, Notion, Airtable and HubSpot, plus custom API integrations when off the shelf automation isn't enough. I spend as much time understanding how a process actually runs today as I do building the automation itself, because the right system depends entirely on getting that part right first. FreelancerOS is the clearest example: a system I built for my own work, the same way I'd build one for a client.
